Welcome to the INCF Assembly 2022!
6 April 2022Our yearly community meeting, the INCF Assembly, is a unique venue where neuroscience researchers, tool developers, standards developers and infrastructure providers can meet with potential collaborators and hear about the latest advancements in neuroinformatics and FAIR neuroscience.
This year, the Assembly will be hosted on the Gather platform. We will also offer a new and improved format for poster sessions, using networking tool Zohuddle. Via Zohuddle, participants will be able to submit abstracts, review other abstracts, and rank other abstracts based on who they would most like to meet. Each abstract submitter will then receive a schedule of 1-1 “huddles” with their chosen poster presenters. Abstract submission will open on April 8 and close on May 9.
Our program this year stretches from September 12 to September 16, and is centered around workshops proposed by our community. The subjects include FAIR neuroscience, reproducibility, brain atlasing, neuroimaging, and EEG norms and quality control. Hands-on sessions will be offered where participants can learn how to annotate BIDS datasets, how to use reporting templates for EEG or neuroimaging data to improve methods reporting, or how to set up reproducible workflows. Two birds-of-a-feather gatherings will be held, one for software tool developers and one for discussion of diversity and inclusion in neuroinformatics.
You don’t have to be an INCF member to participate, but this is a good occasion to become one - registration for Assembly is heavily discounted for members!
