The INCF National Node of Italy is located at the Department of Communication, Computer and System Sciences at the University of Genoa, Italy

Platforms operated by the Node:
• Alzheimer's disease content platform for patients, researchers, physicians
• Early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease using the SPM (Statistical Parametric Mapping) method and a Grid approach. The platform is being validated

Platforms currently being developed:
• Neuro Imaging platform for multimodal data and image fusion for the brain
• Neuroinformatics repository of data and services for merging bioinformatics data (genomics) with medical imaging data in a workflow-enabled environment
