Research Areas Large scale modeling
Research focus My research interests range from biophysically detailed computational models of spinal rhythm generation and cortical associative memory to neural computation principles underlying associative memory, behavior selection, and motor control. A specific focus is simulation of large-scale models on parallel supercomputers. Connectionist models and brain-inspired computation as a tool in machine learning and autonomous systems control is also an interest. I am also leading the computational and modelling platform of Stockholm Brain Instistute (SBI).
