Winners of the INCF Image Competition announced

Winners were announced during the Welcome Reception at Neuroinformatics 2010.

During the Welcome Reception at Neuroinformatics 2010 we announced the winners of the INCF Image Competition. Of the 31 submitted images, 6 were shortlisted for the INCF Olympus Prize and 5 for the INCF Frontiers Prize.

The winner of the INCF Olympus Prize was selected by the INCF Secretariat staff, who chose "The most complex machine" by Jenny Cunnane, Edinburgh, UK.

The Editors-in-Chief at Frontiers chose "Music and the brain" for the INCF Frontiers Prize. The image was submitted by Christian Gaser, Jena, Germany.

South Korea joins the INCF

South Korea joins the INCF

INCF welcomes South Korea as its 16th member country.

INCF is pleased to announce that South Korea has joined the organization as of July 2010, becoming the 16th member country. The INCF National Node of South Korea (K-Node) is located at the Brain Science Research Center (BSRC) of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). The Chair and Coordinator of the K-Node is Dr. Soo-Young Lee, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Director of the BSRC.
