The INCF National Node of Finland is located at the Department of Signal Processing, Tampere University of Technology (TUT) and it was established in March 2007. The Chair of the Finnish INCF coordination is Prof. Ulla Ruotsalainen and the executive coordinator Dr. Marja-Leena Linne (both at the Department of Signal Processing, TUT). The coordination is done in collaboration with a national steering group containing nine members. The Finnish node is funded by the Academy of Finland. The funding includes support for personnel, national meetings, courses and course material, and networking. Some pilot projects in neuroinformatics are also supported.
