The Czech National Node of Neuroinformatics (CNNN) has been working since 2003 and currently serves as an INCF National Node.
The Chair and Coordinator of the node is Václav Matoušek. The node has partners from eight universities and academic research institutions and from three industrial corporations. The node focuses on problems of reliability of interaction between a human subject and an artificial system (e.g. analysis of different effects on mental health of drivers, drivers’ attention, and micro-sleep of system operators). Other activities are oriented to construction of neuroinformatics databases, knowledge mining and buidling of a software and hardware infastructure for research in electrophysiology.
The aims of the CNNN in the near futureare to extend more than ten years of cooperation between Czech universities, research institutions and industrial companies, to attract researchers from other institutions, and to continue in already established cooperation with universities abroad.
